Key Responsibilities

1. Plan and Deliver Training:

   • Organize and execute structured goalkeeper training programs for Glasgow City’s First Team, including a comprehensive pre-season schedule to prepare for competitive fixtures.

2. Goalkeeper Development:

   • Oversee the development of all goalkeepers within the club by implementing personalized performance development plans. Work alongside the Head of Player Development to ensure these plans are effectively executed at the Academy level.

3. Training Philosophy Alignment:

   • Develop and structure goalkeeper training programs that reflect the club's playing philosophy and game model, ensuring consistency across all levels.

4. Match Preparation and Analysis:

   • Prepare First Team goalkeepers for match day performance, including pre- and post-game analysis to support continuous improvement.

5. Staff Recruitment:

   • Support the Academy Director in the recruitment process for goalkeeper coaches when needed.

6. Coaching Support and Development:

   • Offer guidance and professional development opportunities to all goalkeeper coaches within the Academy.

7. Academy Involvement:

   • Attend at least two weekly Academy sessions to oversee the goalkeeping program and contribute to the development of both players and coaches.

8. Collaboration with External Teams:

   • Maintain communication with national team coaches and clubs where players are loaned, ensuring consistent development for Glasgow City goalkeepers.

9. Upholding Club Values:

   • Promote Glasgow City’s values by encouraging discipline, respect, and professionalism among all goalkeepers.

10. Compliance and Best Practices:

• Follow club policies and consistently apply best practices in all aspects of the role.

11. Additional Responsibilities:

• Undertake other tasks as assigned by the Technical Director and the Executive Director, including participation in commercial and collaborative events.
