👶 Humble Beginnings
Franck Kessié was born on December 19, 1996, in Ouragahio, Côte d’Ivoire. As a child, he often played football on dusty, uneven pitches, without proper gear, but with one powerful dream: to become a professional footballer.

🚍 The Sacrifices of a Dream
Coming from a modest family of seven children, Franck had to walk or take long bus rides to get to training in Abidjan. His willpower was forged through long days, little rest, and unwavering focus.

At just 11 years old, he lost his father, a former soldier. Since then, he’s honored him with a military salute every time he scores — a powerful tribute.

✈️ First Steps in Europe
In 2015, he joined Atalanta Bergamo, followed by a loan spell at Cesena in Serie B, where he impressed. He then became a regular starter for Atalanta in Serie A before moving to AC Milan in 2017.

In July 2022, Kessié signed a four-year deal with FC Barcelona, where he made history by scoring the club’s 3,000th goal at Camp Nou in a Clásico against Real Madrid.

🌍 Now: A Star in Saudi Arabia
In August 2023, Franck Kessié joined Al-Ahli (Jeddah) in the Saudi Pro League.

Since his arrival, he has:

scored decisive goals (against Al-Okhdood, Al-Khaleej),

helped his team win the AFC Champions League Elite in May 2025, scoring in the final against Kawasaki Frontale.

As of June 2025, he confirmed that he plans to stay at Al-Ahli, ruling out a transfer to AS Roma for now:

“I want to leave my mark here,” he declared.
